American actor Courtney Thorne Smith (born November 8 1997). Her roles include Alison Parker in Melrose Place, Georgia Thomas in Ally McBeal, Cheryl In According to Jim and Lyndsey McElroy's recurring role on Two and a Half Men. Thorne Smith was born in San Francisco and raised in Menlo Park (a suburb to San Francisco). Walter Smith was her father. Lora Thorne was her mom , as well as a Therapist. Courtney was seven when her parents divorced. Courtney lived with both parents in different periods. She has an older sister named Jennifer who works as an advertising executive. She attended the Menlo-Atherton high school located in Atherton, California and graduated Tamalpais High School in Mill Valley in 1985. She also performed for the Ensemble Theater Company in Mill Valley as she was in high school. Thorne-Smith was the first actress to make an appearance in the movie drama Lucas along with Winona Ryder, Corey Haim, and Charlie Sheen. In the latter half of the 1980s, she was also featured in a variety of films, including Welcome to 18 (1986), Revenge of the Nerds II (Nerds in Paradise) (1987), Summer School (1987) and Side Out(90). She starred with Carrot Top in 1998's box office failure, and was Chairman of the Board. In 2009 she was the lead in Sorority Wars. Thorne Smith was the lover of Andrew Shue from Melrose Place in the early 1990s. In June 2000, the actress got married geneticist Andrew Conrad; the couple split in January 2001. Roger Fishman, the president of Zizo Group marketing and author of What I Know, was her husband. At 40 years old, she gave birth on the morning of January 11, 2008, to Jacob Emerson Fishman.
