 Jimmy Donaldson, also known as MrBeast (born 7 May 1998) is an American YouTube personality and entrepreneur. He is famous for his inventing YouTube videos that feature costly stunts. His main YouTube channel, "MrBeast", is the fifth-most-subscribed on the platform. Donaldson uploaded his videos to YouTube when he was 13, and he used the username "MrBeast6000". The channel started with Let's Plays, and "videos estimating how wealthy other YouTubers were" content. In 2017, he became a viral sensation after his "counting to 100,000" video received millions of views in a matter of days, and he has been getting more and more popular ever since, with most of his videos receiving hundreds of millions of views.Over time his style of content expanded to include donation and challenge videos that reward thousands of dollars, videos with difficult challenges or tasks as well as original vlogs. Donaldson hired many of his former classmates as his assistants for his expanding channel. MrBeast is Donaldson's primary YouTube channel. The channel surpassed 100 million subscribers on the 28th of July 2022.
